Do you offer programs for Children under 13 years of age?

No, our programs are for ages 13 and up, focusing on peer relationships.

How long do the programs run for?

Five weeks, including weekly workshops, one-on-ones, homework, and sport movement (for youth and adolescents).

What happens after the program?

We check in at 1 and 3 months post-program to ensure effectiveness and support.

What if I need extra support?

A support person is present at every workshop, and we have referral networks for additional assistance if needed.

How do I register for an upcoming program?

Referral providers can email info@riseandthriveco.org.au to schedule an intake session. We are not accepting self-referrals at this time.

Can anyone access your programs?

Programs are for Adolescents (13-24 years) and Adults (24+) who have experienced trauma and want to manage their responses better.

What is the acceptance criteria for programs?

Most referrals are accepted. If additional needs are identified, we may suggest alternative support. We focus on what is best for the individual.

Where are your programs held?

Programs are held at community centers and sporting venues for adolescents and either in-person or virtually for adults.

What happens if I don’t get into my preferred program date?

You will be offered the best available placement. If you cannot attend, you can choose an upcoming program instead.

Can I do individual sessions instead of group programs?

No, our programs are designed for groups to build healthy peer relationships and community connections.
